Our prenatal classes are designed for expectant mothers of all experience levels. Strengthen your mind, body, and spirit in preparation for labor and delivery with a class designed to help expectant moms deepen their experience and enjoyment of pregnancy. Class includes yoga postures to address and relieve the common discomforts of pregnancy; relaxation techniques and breathing exercises to ease fear and anxiety; abdominal and pelvic floor toning to enhance postnatal recovery. This class is beneficial at anytime during pregnancy.
Baby + Me Yoga
Connect with your baby, other parents, and yourself during this adult-focused postpartum yoga class. Recommended for babies newborn to walking. Bring a mat, a blanket for your little one, and maybe a favorite toy!
Toddler + Me Yoga
For Ages 1-3 and their parent/caretaker. Kids and parents enjoy movement and mindfulness. Learn basic yoga elements through age-appropriate breath-work techniques, games, storytelling, and creative visualization, all approached in a fun, exciting way. Parents are encouraged to participate.
Ages 3-5. In this class specifically designed with preschoolers in mind, children learn mindful movement through games, yoga poses, imagination and storytelling. Parents are welcome to enjoy our lounge for coffee/tea during class.
Ages 5-10. Yogis will develop their focus, strength, flexibility and coordination in this fun, active, themed yoga class. Kids practice the basics of a real yoga routine through the use of playful yoga games, easy yoga postures and storytelling. All skill and experience levels welcome.
Ages 5-13. Homeschool Yoga is a one hour class designed to strengthen and stretch the entire body, balance the nervous system, improve body awareness, encourage the development of communication and social skills, increase each student’s ability to self-regulate, and provide a fun and engaging experience! Our yoga classes for children incorporate breathing, music, yoga postures and games, and relaxation techniques, which benefit the whole child helping to promote learning readiness and well-being. We will often weave in art and journaling before or after class to explore mindfulness and positive thinking.
This yoga class is specifically designed for teens as opportunity to work on strength and flexibility, while relieving the stress of daily life.
During the class, teens focus on themselves, build self-confidence, and take a break from their busy lives. The class will offer active asana (poses), balance work, breath work (pranayama) and relaxation.
