carolyn Boucher, E-RYT

Carolyn Boucher is an artist and experienced Yoga Instructor currently serving the Triangle communities. In addition to graduating from Carrboro Yoga Company, Carolyn holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University and has a strong studio background in the voice, body, and holistic health.

Carolyn was awarded a rare scholarship for Touch Drawing at the Whidbey Institute, and has studied Butoh and Expressive Arts for many years under the mentorship of Maureen “momo” Freehill of direct Kazuo Ohno lineage. Her work has led her to many strange, wonderful and interesting places; teaching uniquely different populations across the U.S. and abroad. Most recently Carolyn has served as the Artist in Residence at Forest Hills Elementary school in Danville, VA. She is thrilled to join the Kids Mindful Movement team!

Carolyn teaches Imaginative Play, Creative Movement, and Yoga classes.
